Circular Plane Surface 30 mm for Steady Force Test 250 N
According to IEC60950 clause 4.2.4 and IEC60065 clause 9.1.7,
diameter 30mm, stainless steel material, it can be used with push
pull meter with M6 caliber.
External ENCLOSURES are subjected to a steady force of 250 N ± 10 N
for a period of 5 s, applied in turn to the top, bottom and sides
of the ENCLOSURE fitted to the equipment, by means of a suitable
test tool providing contact over a circular plane surface 30 mm in
diameter. However, this test is not applied to the bottom of an
ENCLOSURE of equipment having a mass of more than 18 kg.
c) external conductive enclosures and conductive parts of an
external enclosure shall be subjected for 5 s to a steady force of
(250 ± 10) N for floor-standing apparatus or (100 ± 10) N for other
apparatus, applied to the enclosure or to a part of the enclosure
fitted to the apparatus, by means of a suitable test tool providing
contact over a circular plane surface 30 mm in diameter.
